Most Coaching Methods Were Built On Male Research. Your Female Clients Feel The Difference.

You coach women every week. Half your client base, maybe more.

And when a female client underperforms, struggles with a movement, or responds unexpectedly to a programme, you're left guessing. Is it motivation? Compliance? The programme?

Often it's none of those. It's context you were never taught to see.

The coaching education you came through was built largely on research done on men. So you apply the same principles to every client and can't work out why some women thrive on them and others don't.

WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH

A female-specific coaching lens, so you spot the patterns and clues you've been missing

The ability to read readiness, and adapt intensity based on what's in front of you rather than what's on the plan

An understanding of female anatomy and physiology in practice, including the diaphragm, pelvic floor and the changes women experience across life

The wider picture, hormones, nutrition, lifestyle and psychology, and how to apply it in real coaching

Stronger client relationships, because women can tell when their coach understands them and when they're being handed a men's programme in a smaller size

MEET YOUR EDUCATORS

This course is led by Craig Massey, Head of Education at the PFCA, alongside two leading female experts in the coaching industry:

Laura Cullen covers all things nurture - supporting female clients in and out of the gym, and the key considerations for helping women live and perform at their best.

Colette Pryor brings her expertise in biomechanics and pelvic floor anatomy, leading a dedicated segment on this area.

Together, they're bringing you a one-of-a-kind women's health course. Built and taught by people who understand this from both the research side and the lived experience of coaching women.

HOW THE TWO DAYS WORK:

This is built around the PFCA philosophy of Expression and Nurture, delivered in person by Craig Massey, Head of Education at the PFCA.

You won't sit through two days of slides. Day 1 puts the concepts in your body through practical movement. Day 2 puts them in your coaching through breakouts, consultation practice and programming discussions.

You experience it, then you apply it. That's why it sticks.

WHO THIS IS FOR:

✅ Personal trainers, S&C coaches, online coaches and gym owners who work with female clients

Coaches at any stage who suspect there are gaps in their understanding of women's health and performance

Coaches willing to challenge assumptions they've held for years

❌ Anyone looking for a rigid set of rules for coaching women. There isn't one, and this course won't pretend otherwise. You'll leave with a lens, not a script, and it only works if you keep treating every client as an individual.

This is for fitness professionals, not therapeutic professionals such as physios or sports therapists.
